Summary:

This position is right for you if you are a reliable, self-motivated, and energetic individual. Ideally, you are detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality in your deliveries and can effectively finish your route in a timely manner. The duties of delivery drivers are to deliver equipment and material to various job sites throughout the day.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Able to safely operate a Route Service truck daily.
  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures.
  • Ability to show up on time and communicate with your direct reports.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Must be flexible with shift start times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow route and schedule.
  • Follow company policies and safety standards.
  • Pick-up material from suppliers and verify orders.
  • Loading of material and equipment from Warehouse for delivery.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to technicians/warehouse in a safe and timely manner.
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
